As multi-disciplinary designer and artist I make things in a variety of ways exploring everything from fine art to retail experiential design and everything in-between.
I come from a family of artists. My grandmother was a textile artist who studied with Anni Albers and my mom was a large-scale watercolor painter. I started my graphic design career as a teenager hand painting signs for nightclubs and local businesses in Madison, Wisconsin where I grew up. I have an BFA in painting with a minor focusing on design history from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and an MFA in graphic design from California College of the Arts. In my free time I enjoy cooking with my 15 year old daughter and goofing around with my chocolate lab Forest.
